Introduction: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the commonest cause of chronic liver disease in the western world affecting 5-33% of the general population. Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrinopathy affecting 6-10% of women of reproductive age.
